I'd think so, but that stuff can be sneaky. If you're really worried about it, you can always just leave the pieces out in the sun for a week or two. They won't be live anymore, but they'll come back to life quickly in a tank with
live rock and sand. If you like the pieces, there;s no need to ditch them.
