I recently purchased a Coralife 48" x 15"
metal halide fixture with twin 175's and power compacts. The problem is that the bow tank is too narow at the ends -- so the legs don't fit.
I've rigged it so the legs are sitting in the middle of the tank -- but it's really ugly. (My wife says it looks like Battlestar Gallactica is trying to steal the tank!) She's not far off. I'd rather not use cables to hang the fixture in my den. Any suggestions?
