Was this just a freaky occurance or will you again have higher temps when your tamk is up and going? 86 could very well kill fish and bleach coral. So, if this is going to happen again we need to work with you on "addition's to help you cool.
I am checking the temp very carefully, and I found that durind the day the temp rise up to 86 and during the night drops to 80. I have a BC29 with only the LR.
