| I've kept morays for over 20 years -still would never consider myself an expert. The colors are a little light for a chainlink, but the head shape is dead-on. Knowing the species isn't paramount to caring for it, though. Most have very similar characteristics, it's factors such as potential size, aggression, and diet that varies the most. Just see what it seems to eat greedily, and watch it closely. I'd wager that once it settles in, you'd never ever ever again use the term "picky eater" to describe it! Good luck, and enjoy him! |
