Okay everybody I am a week away from being able to setup my newly purchased JBJ 12G Nanocube and wanted to make sure I have everything. I already have black Onyx Sand, I am getting
live rock next Saturday from my uncle to take down with me for setup, getting water either from uncles tank or
LFS. I still need to purchase a test kit and thermometer. Remove the bio-balls and ceramic rings from filtration. Is there anything else I should to help with the filtration? Also I was planning on upgrading the stock pump with like a maxi jet (I think like the 900) and either running a Y-Connector or possibly a hydor flo. Any recommendations on which setup would be more effective? I have only seen pictures of people running the Y-Connector, but was wondering if the hydor flo's I have heard about would be more affective. Thanks in advance!
