LFS has a nice 3inch green mantis. I have kept a pistol for a decent amount of time and I have researched the mantis, I want him. They are saving the mantis for me. I know mantis (shrimps though they are not shrimps) can in theory break glass so I was thinking a 12g eclipse tank. I thought I might need to place another piece of acryllic on the bottom. I was thinking a 1/8 inch just beacuse it is easy to cut and locate. The tank is going to be a species tank...him and him alone. Anyone have any avice or first hand expierence?
