I recently got a 24" nova extreme and its great. with the price of these units they may be cheaper than a retrofit. If two would fit over your tank I would consider doing that. That might be enough light for you. But it depends on what you are keeping too. Fill us in on the occupant plan and tank depth. I think standard 29 is 18" but if you have a
DSB that could be significantly shallower.
