Hey what do you guys/gals think about this heater? Over kill for a 75 gallon? I love the fact that it has a built in thermometer.

1) Way more too much overkill, unless you live in really cold place that has no central heat.

2) If that controller or sensor probe ever fails, you will cook your tank really fast.

3) A thousand watts turning on and off is a big load on your circuit breaker.
