need help with new setup

I finaly got my 75g tank from the store to the house. Igot it un drilled with the idea of drilling it myself. went on ebay bought the bit, had the tank on its side in the back yard withe the drill in hand, and the water running on the glass, and I Just couldnt do it.
so off I went to the store to get a overflow box. shelled out $250 for the box pump and misc.
got home set it all up steped back, and saw that I had to have at least 10" of space between the tank and the wall, figured out that it was only about $60 differance to get a reef ready tank, ripped it all down put the tank back in my truck, back to the lfs ordered the rr tank and now I wait for it to come in,so next week I can put it all together again.....
My question, or better yet questions are
1. What size sump can I put under there I was thinking of a 30L, but dont know if it will take up too much space, or maybe a 20L would be better?
Another thought is to take my 29g that I have now and stick it under there, but where would I put my fish while the new tank is cycling?
or I can get a rubbermaid and stick it under there.
or still I can go lfs style and make a box out of wood and get some of that rubber that they use for pondsand make it into whatever shape I want.
2. I only have 2 T5's for now till my wallet starts to breath again, is that enough light to support life on the rock, or am I just waisting my time and money.( its going to be a fowlr) for now.
Any feedback will be great.
thanks
