Windows media decoder version 9

Rob,
Thank you for your work with the podcasts, I truly enjoy them. I know there have been some people (as mentioned on the last podcast) who have wanted a different video format (non-quicktime), and I know you are familiar with conversion options, but I just wanted to post a link for the windows decoder version 9 software that I use in the event it would make it easier for others to convert to a windows file format. I have been very happy with the conversion quality, and plays with windows media flawlessly. I just download the vidcast in the mpeg4 format, then convert it with version 9 of the windows media decoder, and saved it as a windows format video file. It is free software for anyone using windows, and doesn't come standard with any of the service packs. I wasn't sure where to post the link in the forums, but knew you would, so I posted it here. Sorry if this is obvious to others, but I had to scramble and search on my own to figure this out, and would have loved a little help. The link below is one source of download.Download Windows Media Encoder 9 - Production tool that enables content developers to convert both live and prerecorded audio - Softpedia

Thanks again,
pucker
