I use a nikon 4800, its just a point and shoot camera. I do tweak it a bit, by lowering the contrast to say .7. I also make sure there is no refelction in the room that might show up in the tank, I also turn off all powerheads. Then I take lots and lots of pictures. Hopfully I get one or two nice ones.
