The tank is only a month old -- but with well established live rock and substrate from a home set up. I agree that I'm pushing it, and can't believe my luck so far. If the Blenney grows much I'll transfer him to another tank.

So far everything seems happy and I'm getting no indications of water conditions going bad.

The clown is a "stubby" variety that is supposed to stay small. My LFS has been ordering them for nano set ups. I haven't been able to find anything written about them. Could be a bunch of hooey -- though this store is the best!

The two nano filters should be doing about 80 gph combined, plus whatever the powerhead is doing (maybe another 30-40 gph?).

If it is in fact 120 gph that's turning the tank over 40 times an hour.

Is there a rule of thumb for fish and softies? (Seems like rob covered that in an early TR)
