I have a 29gal with a 15gal
sump My heater is a 150w and i placed it right by the return pump underneath the baffle so the water will circulate around it and then return to the
DT. it works perfect for me. took less than 5 hours to heat when i setup the tank. my
DT is at 81.? and the
sump stays at 80.5.
