Question Should I get a Calcium Monitor if I already have a PH Controller??

Should I get aCalcium monitor if I already have a PH Controller
Just wondering if I need both devices or if I have a PH controller would I need a Calcium monitor. Are they the same in any way???

I know I have the PH controller hooked up to the Calcium reactor and if the PH is constans at 8.4 than I would assume that the calcium should be in proper range too. Is this correct in thinking this way???

Thanks for the info
