I want to say that I enjoyed the show on my ride home. Very informative. I also want to add that I have had extensive experience in ridding my system of the dreaded red bugs. If ANYONE has any questions regarding the use of Interceptor for eradication and/or prevention of red bugs, fire away. I'm sure that I'm not the only one here who could help.
The reason I bring this up is that MOST people (including me) get a dose of 'instant fear' when you read/research the treatments. It is really not all that bad if done the right way.
As a final note about the darned bugs... I DID treat a very heavily stocked, 2 year old 75G reef system. I created two offline
fuges and collected as many snails, crabs, shrimp as I could from my display before doing the treatments. I lost just one HUGE coral banded shrimp that I could not remove from the display. Besides that shrimp, I took a heavy hit in my pod and mysid populations. However, within two months time, you'd never know that I had such losses.
