Those of us that
frag and grow corals for distribution are already considered farmers. That article is disturbing but speaks of the decline of food species due to overfishing in certain areas. Certainly this is a concern. We should all be just as concerned about our reefs and I'm sure most of us are. I say most because
there are some who don't take the necessary steps to insure the long term health of the species we keep. There initial set-ups are bare boned and leave much to be desired for the care and safe keeping of our system's inhabitants.
That's why we as forum members must educate, educate, educate about current acceptable, successful practices in reef keeping. I believe we on TR do a good job of that.
