I often break out the flashlight and watch the tank and night just to see the goings-on. Other than some big ol’ bristle worms and a variety of pods running about. I have not seen or heard any unknown critters, but the possibility of a mantis shrimp has crossed my mind. Would there be any way to draw out a mantis shrimp into the open?
As for tanks plans, once I get my 175watt
