So here's my confusion...I've read several places that R/O is the only way to go(so much so that I've considered purchasing an
RO filter instead of making the trips to the
LFS or other places.
But I heard in episode 3 that plain distilled water is sufficient.
Is there any advantage of
RO over distilled or vice-versa?
Also, I was running low in my
sump and needed some make up water so I stopped by Publix and picked up a few gallons of "Purified Water" that is listing itself as being "ozonated" and "de-ionized". Is that acceptable or do I need to stay strictly with distilled or
RO water?
Who would have thought that water could be so confusing?
(By the way..if I have "fancy fish"..do you think they would like Perrier? -
