I have to agree the Fission
skimmer just isn't worth the work it takes to dial it in. Unless you have an auto top off the the water level in the cubes fluctuates too much. I just tried to use mine on on a 5.5 gallon tank I had set up and all it did was flood the collection cup. Plus if your cube has a hood on it like my Aquapod does you have to either leave it open or lower your water level to get the collection cup to stay out of the water. Then there are the micro bubbles... No mater what I tried they never went away. For the time being I am doing 5 gallon water changes bi weekly and it seems to work.
