Ah, yes. I'd like to say it was because of 59 years experience on my side or superior skill in out witting the "bad guy" but, I'm afraid I have to tell the truth, it was pure luck, my Dear, pure luck.

I'm sure the masked crab came in on the frag. It was about an hour after acclimating the frag that I could see this white "thing" with a black line through it. I got the camera out and took a picture and there he was. You must have experienced this phenomenon before, that the camera can "see" things barely visible or not recognizable to the naked eye. He's difficult to get a good shot of because the camera wants to focus on a coralite around him and he comes out a bit fuzzy much of the time.

Even though I have the D70 camera, capable of doing things far beyond my ability, I use it as a point and shoot on "auto" most of the time.
