Not 100% sure. Sold as a Perc, but I can't tell the difference.
As for heat, I'm not overly concerned. The top is closed as it is and I have no problems now.... got a chiller operating. I am considering the benifits of some small fans in the hood.
Circulation is currently via the overflow into the internal
sump. Plenty of air getting in there. The plan is to put in a
sump/refugium under the tank and use a reverse
photoperiod to help maintain
pH, O2, etc. Currently do not measure
ORP, or disolved O2.
