I have been mulling over using Zeovit for about the past year. I HATE the fact that they leave you in the dark and won't let the cat out of the bag to tell you what is in their media. I have 2 friends who are my local Guinea pigs. Eric Borneman was supposed to lecture on the different filter systems and media at
IMAC. I was hoping to hear him mention Zeovit, but he changed the topic of the lecture. Maybe for
MACNA there will be a good lecture based on some sort of science. As an owner of a SPS dominent tank, I would love to truely know why this system allows for incredible manifestation of colors.
What is the chemistry?
FWIW, I have seen the same coral in 4 different tanks and have it display 4 different colors with the same Kelvin bulb (different
ballasts) and relative equal chemistry parameters.
I know alot of people that believe that Zeovit is just a brillant marketing scheme. I'll wait for the science before I jump on the antecdotal bandwagon.
